We are pleased to announce our first Council Representatives under the Council Representative Program. Following a comprehensive selection process that included application screening, initial review with Chief and Council, and 11 interviews and final selection completed by our Council of Elders, we are excited to welcome Stacey Cockerill and Jeffrery Cree to these important leadership development positions.

Councillor Representative

Stacey Cockerill

Both Stacey and Jeffrery serve the Nation as valued employees and demonstrated strong commitment to serving our community. Their selection reflects the qualities and dedication we were looking for in our inaugural Council Representatives – individuals who understand our Nation's operations, are committed to our members, and are ready to develop the governance and leadership skills that will benefit our community for years to come.

The Council of Elders evaluated each candidate on leadership potential, cultural knowledge, community connection, and commitment to serving the Nation. Chief and Council are honored to have endorsed their selections.

Councillor Representatives

Councillor Representatives are Nation employees, not elected officials. They work directly with Chief and Council and have specific authorities to quickly assist with Member services, questions, and concerns within established guidelines. They are a bridge — between Members and Nation leadership.

Within their delegated authority, Jeffery and Stacey can help with:

•       Emergency Member assistance requests

•       Minor housing maintenance requests and coordinating repairs

•       Connecting you to the right department or service

•       General questions and concerns about Nation programs and services
