Nikinan Centre
The Nikinan Community Centre is the new home of Fort McMurray 468 First Nation.
Opened on July 4, 2025, we are located at Indian Beach – a culturally significant gathering place for the community, where our people have held ceremonies and celebrated our culture for generations.
Nikinan means, “Our Place” in Cree. It holds a deep connection and sense of ownership and pride for the community.
