Council of Elders
Chief and Council are pleased to introduce the members of our Council of Elders. Nine respected Nation members stepped forward to serve in this role, and we want to make sure the broader membership knows who they are, what they are doing, and why it matters.
Our Elders are not a committee is a gathering of knowledge-holders who meet with Chief and Council Advisory Committees, and Nation leadership on a needs basis to provide cultural guidance, review policies through the lens of our values, mentor our Councillor Representatives, and speak honestly about what they are seeing in the community.
